10th Anniversary of September 11th

Lower Providence Heroes

Me Placing my flower on the Memorial
Today was a very solemn day. Mrs. Conger brought me to Lower Providence Township’s Memorial Ceremony for the 10th Anniversary of the terrorist attacks on 9/11/2001. A bell was tolled at the exact time each plane crashed that day and there were speeches of those that were at each place. Like the other people there I placed a white carnation on the memorial. The new monument shows the Twin Towers, it is shaped like the Pentagon, and the water feature has 40 steps to commemorate the 40 people who were on the plane that crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. I also got my picture taken with Lower Providence’s finest! Policeman and Firemen are heroes. They are also patriots!
